Can a resident mow the lawn on a Sunday?

No, article 31 of the general police rules says clearly:

"The usage of lawnmowers, saws and generally all other noisy equipment is forbidden between 9pm and 8am. On Sundays and public holidays, the usage is always forbidden." but sometimes the local commune rules can allow it.
